Painting with Paper: The Movie

I love watching other artists in action: seeing their process, technique, medium of choice and how it all comes together in the final masterpiece.  I've watched quite a few time lapse videos and I really feel as the viewer, that we get to experience the piece in the making (as cliché as that sounds).  These types of projects inspire me the most, and really get my inner creationist dancing.

So I decided to attempt my own.  Now, please understand that I am in no way a professional videographer/editor (obviously from my sweet editing skills and cool beats embedded in the video).  But I had fun putting this little doohickey together and I know that I will create more in the future - so stay tuned! This video is approximately 6 1/2 minutes long in case you want to settle down with a bag of popcorn and your comfy slippers.

The piece being showcased is "Wise Feather".  This was the last in the series of three (you can view them all in the gallery section of my site).  I've had a lot of people ask me how I do what I do.  And as you'll soon see, I keep it pretty simple.  I'll admit that there's a little preparation beforehand, but I like to try to keep things as fresh and spontaneous as possible.  The rest comes from that inner creationist diva.

So with that - enjoy and Happy Papering!
