Melody started off without an intention. As I often experience with a lot of my pieces, the designs create themselves and as I start working I will end up with something I had not originally intended. When I look at this one, I experience soothing and peaceful feelings. The golden flower gives the picture a nice “pop” without being over powering or taking away from the gentle background colors.
