This piece is inspired by the simple beauty of nature. The idea was to create an organic looking image created entirely of hand torn paper. The frayed edges, textures and fibrous qualities of the papers give this piece a visual complexity and allows it to retain a simple, yet detailed characteristic. The original was created for a non-profit organization called Childcare Aware of Eastern Kansas where they support the development and learning of young children by offering programs and services that improve the quality and accessibility of child care for working families.
