This piece features the Giraffe. It captures their grandeur in size and identifying spots characteristic of the giraffe. Giraffes are the tallest mammals on earth, measuring up to 18ft high. Even with their massive size, Giraffes are targeted for their meat, hides and even sport. Giraffes have recently moved from vulnerable to endangered status due to the sharp decline in population numbers. Conservation groups are fighting to put more protections in place for these sweet, quiet mammals.
Global Conservation Force is a non profit organization that is dedicated to saving wildlife from extinction through education, anti-poaching efforts and conservation. They put themselves on the front lines as the guardians of these beautiful creatures. That's why in an effort to help them in continuing their cause, all proceeds for this print will be donated directly to them.
